FFXIV Clients Ready For Download

PC and PS3 Players can now get their FFXIV clients. Official emails are all sent!

We can now count the time to the FFXIV open beta in hours! I could write a whole bunch of words about the FFXIV client now being available to download but I’ll just let the Square Enix email kind of stand alone here. PLEASE NOTE: The links in this email are for the PC client.

Thank you for signing up for the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test on Windows PC!The final beta test will kick off on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 2 a.m. (PDT) and last until Monday, August 19, 2013 at 2 a.m. (PDT).If you haven’t downloaded the client for Windows PC yet, you can log in to the test forums and download the test client here.If you have any questions regarding this e-mail or any other aspect of the beta test, please visit the Square Enix Support Center.We look forward to seeing you in Eorzea!

PS3 players have also received similar emails. Go ahead and get updated! If you’ve been hanging on to the pather that was available for donload a few days ago, go click on it! It’s finally out of maintenace mode and will download your FFXIV client!

However, users who fulfill any of the following requirements are eligible to participate starting from Friday, August 16, at 2:00 a.m. (PDT) / 9:00 a.m. (GMT):

  • Played Version 1.0
  • Legacy Campaign members
  • Registered a Beta Test registration code by Tuesday, July 30, 2013 9:59 p.m. (PDT) / Wednesday, July 31, 2013 4:59 a.m. (GMT)
  • Received a PlayStation 3 promotion code in the days before the start of Beta 4 testing
